What is our training philosphy?

We believe that great negotiation training transcends the traditional concepts of winning and losing.  It drives performance, job satisfaction and confidence at a pace that is often surprising - -  and always rewarding. It challenges many of our previously held beliefs about what makes good negotiators so good. It offers new life skills, and foundational principles, which accelerate the results realized in both professional and personal life. These skills and principles empower people to expect more, and achieve more, from the moment the pencils are down and the workbooks are closed. Our workshops reflect a passionate and global approach to training.  An approach which successfully combines real-life experience on the front lines of business with the best schools of thought on negotiation, instructional design and learning theory. We invite you to see first-hand why you'll describe our training as an experience that is truly transformative.

Do you offer any special or preferred rates?

If your Company’s name is found on our list of companies who are eligible for our Preferred Rates, or if you are a subsidiary of one of those companies, then you are entitled to a $100 discount per registration. University Affiliations

Convergent Negotiations is a totally independent and autonomous training organization. We are not compensated to endorse or promote any other training organization, training approach, association or specific university. Neither are any of these entities compensated to endorse or promote Convergent. The Universities, for example, referenced on our website are simply mentioned in acknowledgement of their outstanding tradition for excellence in the field of negotiation and not directly affiliated with Convergent. Neither are we intending to diminish the contributions of other world-class institutions that are not mentioned like Northwestern, MIT, Sloane, Michigan State or Wharton. The institutions referenced are simply universities through which the President of Convergent has received coursework and/or training in negotiation. We pride ourselves on our eclectic and independent approach to negotiation and, accordingly, having any specific university's endorsement of Convergent, its employees or its Programs is not pursued.

Why is our Workshop right for you?

We bring together the best schools of thought on negotiation from the world's top authorities at institutions like Harvard, Stanford, Yale, University of Notre Dame, University of California-Irvine and the University of MichiganYou won't find yourself in a dreary lecture format from the moment you are welcomed until you walk out the door after the final wrap up. We use highly interactive methods that are fun, engaging and effective which reflect the latest advance in learning theory and instructional design. We use executives who are seasoned business people with real-world experience in negotiations - not non-business people that are repeating a canned course on negotiations. This real-world experience shows you how enhanced negotiating skills can significantly accelerate the quality, quantity and pace of your results.
